Scarf buckles are an easy and lightweight accessory that can be used in multiple ways to hold your accessories in place. Just look at the photos and videos showing how the buckles fit on various items.

These simple but versatile rectangular buckles are similar in shape, but fit two different weights.

The smaller acrylic buckle has an inner diameter of 40mm and an overall size of 2.375 x 3.5"/60 x 90mm. It is best suited for large items in thin yarn, regular sized scarves in mid weight yarn.

The larger acrylic buckle has an inner diameter of 50mm and an overall size of 3.375 x 5.125"/85 x 130mm. It is best suited for large items in mid-weight yarn and regular sized scarves in thick yarn.

3 Ways to Style Handmade Accessories with a Scarf buckle

  1. Cowboy Style - this look reminds me of a bolo tie. Take both ends of the scarf and hold them together. Place the ends under one side of the buckle, over the bar, and down through the opposite side.
  2. Crossed Ends - Like the Cowboy Style but each end of the scarf is fed through the buckle in opposing directions.
  3. Overstuffed - If you you're want to use your buckle with a scarf. That's a little too thick, only place one end of the scarf through the buckle. Take the other end and feed it under the fabric parallel to the bar.

To use the buckle to secure your scarf or shawl, both ends must be threaded over the middle bar.
