The Eccentricity Shawl, Xandy’s gentle introduction to the stacked-stitch technique uses panels of short-row lace to give the piece it’s asymmetrical look and name. This class is well suited for adventurous knitters who are comfortable making shawls and want to learn the stacked-stitch technique.
In the first 2 sessions, we will focus on learning the components of stacked-stitch colorwork and we’ll cast on together. In the second week, we’ll work on the lace portion of the project and learn how to fix mistakes in stacked stitches.
Special skills or knowledge needed to take this workshop:
Must be comfortable reading a pattern and should be familiar with basic increases and decreases.
