The Fascination Wrap is a colorwork pattern with a distinctive stripe pattern, created with the stacked-stitch technique. Stacked stitches are used to create vertical movement within a row and extreme, wavy stripes without stranding on the wrong side of the piece or the use of other traditional colorwork methods.
After an introduction to the basic principles and components of this technique, we will cast on a scarf or swatch and discover how each row of stitches fits together to form a flat fabric. We will learn how to move markers, keep track of stitch count, and fix mistakes in a stack pattern. We will also learn to weave-in ends at the end of each color stripe to save time during finishing.
